Steampunk Derringer side

To date most of my work has been toy prototypes in scale with twelve inch figures. This is my first entry into the realm of Steampunk and the first of a many full size pieces I want to build. I am trying to stick to metals and wood as much as I can as I'm not really sure of what the guide lines are for cos-play props but I want them to be as durable as possible.
